I know the sales won't appeal to many, especially as they are mostly high priced stallions being sold.
However, in the past they have a stunning exhibition of fiesta dancing horses and displays, which starts at around 10pm on the Saturday night. It beats anything you would see at Olympia - and the best thing of all - it's free!

The restaurant is relatively new, and is a great place to wind up a lovely day after being on the lake with canoes etc. La Parra can be found by taking the Huescar to Castril road, and then turn at the sign for the Embalse de San Clemente. Continue on this road, until you can see the dam just before the lake, and the restaurant is on the right hand side. I can definately recommend the wild boar (Jabali) in mushroom sauce. Delicious!
